Check Remaining Session Time

This page provides instructions to check the remaining session time of the SSL VPN connection on different devices.

Apple macOS

  1. Double-click Pulse Secure in the Applications folder to launch the SSL VPN client

    • Right-click HKUST SSL VPN
    • Click Advanced Connection Details

  3. Remaining session time shown next to Session time remaining

Microsoft Windows

  1. Double-click Pulse icon in the notification area to launch the SSL VPN client

    • Click File
    • Click Connections
    • Click Advanced Connection Details

  3. Remaining session time shown next to Session time remaining

Linux

  • Remaining session time function is not available for Linux devices

Android

  1. Press Pulse Secure from all apps screen to launch the SSL VPN client

  2. Press HKUST SSL VPN connection profile

  3. Remaining session time shown next to Remaining Session

Apple iOS

  • Press Pulse Secure from home screen to launch the SSL VPN client

  • Press HKUST SSL VPN connection profile

  • Remaining session time shown next to Remaining Session
